What ages are allowed in The Agora?

The venue is all ages, with a few exceptions. Certain events are age restricted due to the nature of that event. If a show is in fact age restricted, this will be noted on The Agora website and on the actual concert ticket.

Is parking available?

Yes. The Agora has several parking lots available. Parking can be found on Prospect Avenue., E. 46th and Euclid Avenue; our main lot is behind the venue at 5001 Prospect Ave. Parking attendants will be on duty throughout the duration of the event. The price of parking varies on the event, but is usually between $10 - $20. All parking staff will be wearing Agora shirts.

Is The Agora Handicap accessible?

Yes, whether the show is in the Theatre or Ballroom, we are fully handicap accessible. When arriving at The Agora, you would simply come through the main doors and alert event staff that you need handicap seating and they will escort you to where you need to be. You do not need a special ticket for handicap seating; general admission is the best ticket for you or your guest.

Do you allow cameras, or recording devices?

This is contingent upon the band playing that night. Please call 216-881-2221 the day of the event to find out for sure. Please exercise caution if you plan on bringing these devices, and be prepared for the chance that you may have to remove them from our premises. For the most part any professional camera (a camera with a removable lense) you would need to have a photo pass from the act or the venue.

What is your bag policy?

For security reasons, we do not allow backpacks, draw-string bags, and big purses. Small purses and fanny packs are allowed. Upon entering, your bag will be subject to search. This also applies to items such as thermoses, coolers, Lunchmates, etc.

What is not permitted inside the venue?

Weapons, pepper spray / mace, flares, fireworks.
Food, beverages, alcohol, cans, bottles, flasks, coolers, drugs, illegal substances.
Skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, helmets, chairs, beach balls.
Projectiles (frisbees, beach balls, etc.)
Noise making devices (air-horns, drums, whistles)
Recording devices (Go-Pros, audio / video recorder, professional cameras) Unless permission is granted by the artist or venue.

Do children under a certain age need a ticket?

All patrons, regardless of age, are required to have a ticket in order to enter the venue.

When and where can I pick up my will call tickets?

Will call tickets can be picked up at our ticketing windows near our front entrance. To pick up your tickets you will need a photo I.D. or the card that you purchased the tickets with.

How do I purchase tickets?

You can purchase tickets through axs.com, The Agora Box Office (located near our front entrance), or by phone by calling 216-881-2221. The Agora Box Office is open Monday - Friday, 11:00AM - 6:00PM. We accept cash and all major credit cards. There are no services fees when purchasing tickets at the box office. A $2.00 charge per ticket will apply for using a credit/debit card. Can you return or exchange tickets?

All sales are final unless the show is cancelled by the artist or venue. Online ticket purchases will automatically be refunded to you. If you purchased tickets at the box office or over the phone, refunds will be given at point of purchase.

Can you scan tickets off my phone?

Customers who select mobile delivery must download the AXS app or flash seats. When creating an account, the email used to purchase tickets must match the email used for the apps.

What does General Admission mean?

General Admission means there are no assigned seats.

What does Reserved Seating mean?

Reserved seating will assign you a specific and assigned seat in that section.

What time do the doors to the venue open? What time does the show start?

Door and show time vary per event. Each event listing will have door time stated. The time on your ticket also states the door time. Shows typically start 30 – 60 minutes after doors open. Show times vary per show.

Do you serve food?

We do not serve food. Occasionally, for longer period events, we do have a food truck out front, or we will sell pizza.

Can we go outside and come back in the venue?

No. There is a strictly enforced no re-entry policy. If you need to have a cigarette, we have a designated smoking section outside the venue.

When is the concert over?

Show times vary due to a number of reasons. If the show beginning and end times are not posted, please feel free to call the box office for details on a specific event.

Lose an item?

All lost and found items at The Agora are turned into our Operations Department. You can call the box office at 216-881-2221 to inquire if your lost item was found.
